主讲人简介：
Sin-Doo Leereceived his B.S. and M.S. degrees in solid state physics from Seoul National University, Korea in 1980 and 1982, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in liquid crystal physics from Brandeis University, USA in 1988 with a thesis on polymer liquid crystals. For the period from 1988 to 1991, he was a member of technical staff at Bell Communications Research where he was engaged in the development of liquid crystal displays and optical communication systems. During 1992 -1997, he was a professor in Physics Department of Sogang University. Since 1997, he has held a professorship of School of Electrical Engineering of Seoul National University, Korea. His research activities include device physics of liquid crystals, flat panel displays, printed electronics, lipid rafts and biotechnologies. He has authored and coauthored over 300 scientific publications, delivered more than 100 plenary and invited lectures, and over 350 conference presentations. He has been an Editor-in-Chief of J. Inform. Displays, an Associate Editor of Opt. Express and IEEE-J. Display Technol., a member of APS, ACS, OSA, SID, SPIE, IEEE, AAAS, Japanese Applied Physical Society, and other scientific societies.
