On the afternoon of July 10, the closing ceremony of the International Exchange Camp hosted by the College of Electrical Engineering at Sichuan University was held in the lecture hall of the Basic Teaching Building.
Key attendees included Zhang Yingmin, Deputy Party Secretary of the College; Professor Ho Yongsung from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, South Korea); college faculty members Wang Xiaofang and Wu Shanshan; as well as participating Chinese and international students.

On behalf of the college, Deputy Secretary Zhang Yingmin extended a warm welcome to the visiting professors and the 12 international students from the Technical University of Clausthal (Germany). She noted that the two-week UIP program at Sichuan University had successfully concluded. The program brought together teachers and students from around the world, fostering meaningful academic and cultural exchange.
Zhang highlighted that the international participants brought unique cultural perspectives and energy to the campus, leaving a lasting impression through their active participation. She also praised the college's own students for seizing the opportunity to broaden their international horizons and demonstrating excellent organizational and communication skills. She expressed her belief that all participants gained a comprehensive understanding of Sichuan University, Chengdu, and Chinese culture, and hoped for future opportunities to reunite and deepen cooperation.

Professor Ho Yongsung delivered a speech expressing his sincere gratitude to Sichuan University and the College of Electrical Engineering for their exceptional support and hospitality. Recalling his participation in Sichuan University's International Week last year, he noted that those vivid memories filled him with anticipation for the university's continued development. He remarked that although this exchange was brief, he deeply felt the academic influence of Chinese higher education, the charm of Bashu culture, and the vitality of Chengdu. He encouraged young students to actively engage in international exchanges and looked forward to continued friendship and cooperation between the two universities.

During the group presentation session, participants shared insights on topics such as artificial intelligence, cultural comparisons, and professional development. These presentations not only summarized their learning experiences but also showcased the intellectual sparks generated by the interaction of diverse cultures, further promoting mutual understanding.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Deputy Secretary Zhang Yingmin, Professor Ho Yongsung, and Ms. Wang Xiaofang presented course completion certificates and prizes to the international students, recognizing their active participation and achievements.

The ceremony ended with a group photo on the podium, officially marking the successful conclusion of the international exchange camp.
