In the autumn semester of 2022, the College of Electrical Engineering offered a practical course "Technology Frontier and Professional Practice" for postgraduates majoring in electrical engineering. This course invites well-known scholars and industry experts to give lectures, focusing on the field of electrical engineering, integrating interdisciplinary directions, and combining industry frontiers with major national projects to carry out case teaching. Such course broadens the vision of graduate students, stimulates contemporary electrical engineers' sense of responsibility and mission, and enhances graduate students' understanding and practical ability of complex engineering problems. And this course takes the form of lecture, on-the-spot investigation, student group report, etc. The backbone teacher in the direction of electrical engineering is in charge of special topics, connecting experts, and presiding over the discussion of each special content. In this course, there will be 8 thematic exchanges, 1 on-site investigation and 1 student group presentation. The thematic exchange is conducted by combining offline and online methods. At present, it has been carried out for two periods, in which students actively participate, and the course has been widely praised.
