Hongjun Gao is currently an Associate Research Professor with the College of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. He received the B.S. degree, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China in 2011, 2014 and 2017, respectively. From 2015 to 2016, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee, WI, USA. His research interests include active distribution system planning and operation, unit commitment, economic dispatch, distributed generation integration and multi-energy system optimization. He has contributed to over 40 publications, 3 invention patents. He has undertaken several research projects/funds, such as National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), National Science Foundation of China, State Grid Funds, etc.
