Dr. Wang is a member of the HVDC Transmission Research Group/Power System Stability and Control Research Group. Dr. Wang has been engaged in teaching and research related to high voltage DC transmission (HVDC), and multilevel converters, power electronics. Dr. Wang is the project leader of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and working as main researcher completed/undertook over 10 projects including the National key research and development plan, National Key Technology Support Program, NSFC, and enterprise commissioned project. Dr. Wang published/accepted 35 papers in academic journals or conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, and Proceedings of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE), 28 of which are covered in SCI or EI indexes, and 9 of which are covered in SCI indexes.
