Male, born in 1975, PhD, professor, graduate advisor, IEEE member, associate director of the Department of Electrical Engineering, and recipient of the Sichuan University Outstanding Young Backbone Teacher Award. Professor Liu was engaged in postdoctoral research in the United States from September 2008 to September 2009.

He is mainly involved in research on power system analysis and economic operations, electricity market, renewable energy dispatch in smart grid, active distribution network, and electric vehicles.

Teaching Responsibilities:

Professor Liu has long been teaching courses such as Electrical System for Power Plant, Electricity Market Theory, Power Dispatch Optimization Theory and its Application. Several undergraduate theses he supervised won Sichuan University Outstanding Thesis Awards. He also won title of Sichuan University Excellent Faculty Adviser for Graduating Interns a number of times.

\Scientific Research:

(1) Review expert of several journals such as Proceedings of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Electric Power Automation Equipment, Proceedings of the CSU-EPSA, Water Resources and Power, IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, and IEEE Transactions on Power System.

1) Editor-in-Chief to Operation System of the Electricity Market, a High-level Education Ministry -Level Planned Textbook during the “11th Five-Year Plan” rated as a competitive textbook in the electric power industry.

2) Editor-in-Chief to Technical Support System for the Power Market, a Higher Education Planned Textbook during the “12th Five-Year Plan”

3) Co-author of Electrical System for Power Plant, a Higher Education State-Level Planned Textbook in the "11th Five-Year Plan Period" and "12th Five-Year Plan Period" rated as a competitive textbook in the electric power industry.

4) Only author of Power Dispatch Optimization Theory and its Application

As first author, published SCI indexed papers in IEEE Transaction on Smart Grid (Impact Factor> 4)

As first or corresponding author, published over 20 EI indexed papers in domestic and foreign journals

(4) Projects

As a member of the team led by Professor Junyong Liu and a principal researcher, Professor Jichun Liu participated in projects under the National High-Tech R&D Program (863 Program) and key projects financed by the National Natural Science Fund. Professor Liu has presided several projects financed by the Ministry of Education and multiple enterprise projects, with a total contract value of over RMB 3 million.
