Ms Sun Man, born in January 1972, holds a PhD in Engineering and associate professorship and teaches the discipline of electrical engineering theory and new technology as a graduate advisor who mainly researches engineering safety monitoring and numerical calculation.

She graduated from Department of Radio Electronics, Sichuan University in 1997 with a master’s degree in Radiophysics. In the same year, after graduation, she stayed to work at the Sichuan University College of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. In 2005, she graduated from the University’s School of Hydropower Engineering with a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering. Over a period of two decades, she has been a leading instructor for several courses of Electromagnetic Field, Circuit Theory, Electrical and Electronic Measuring to students at the undergraduate up to master levels. She mainly conducts research on fiber optic sensing and structural safety detection, and numerical computation analysis.
