The research activities of the Research Center of Opto-Electronics embrace an array of diverse yet related fields including: technology of Laser & Optical Communications, High-Intensity Laser Related technology, Nonlinear Optics, Laser Beam Quality Analysis and Diagnosis. The research center has made great progress in the above fields. Up to now, the research center has undertaken several projects such as 1 key National Natural Science Foundation program, 1 National Key Development Program 973 for Fundamental Research, several National Development Programs 863 for High Technology Research as well as National Natural Science Foundation Programs. The research center has published more than 200 papers, with more than half been indexed by SCI and EI; and the research center has applied and obtained 3 patents as well.
