Research & Teaching Interests

Digital image processing, pattern recognition, image communication, computer vision, and software engineering.

Professional Experience & Activities

Director of Computer Technologies and Applications Teaching Unit, senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics. She has made significant contributions to the research and published a book and a large number of papers especially on image processing and pattern recognition. Done and ongoing nearly 30 research projects sponsored by National Natural Science Funding of China, PhD funding of Education Department of China, Sichuan Provincial Natural Science Funding, and nation wide enterprises. Received research prizes awarded by State Departments and Sichuan Province. The image analysis system which is developed by her team is widely applied in Petroleum geology industry，machinery and metallurgy and biomedicine,etc.
